Good photography and nice leather work. I got bitten by the "Schofield" bug a while back and after a long search came up with one of the S&W Model 2000 Schofields. It was touted to be a near exact copy of the original with the proper markings and everything.
Very disappointed because the safety Nazis got to S&W and they put in a floating, frame mounted firing pin that is decidedly not original. They also shortened the cylinder pin bushing so much the gun will not fire 4 rounds of black powder handloads that duplicate the original 45 S&W performance without binding the cylinder so tight with fouling it can't even be turned by hand.
From what I've heard the Uberti version doesn't do well with black powder either. The Uberti shortened the bushing because the cylinder was lengthened to accept the 45 Colt cartridge. S&W has no such excuse. Dave
PS: From what I hear the Standard single actions are fine weapons so congratulations on that one.
