I can't believe I got this thing! It's a .38 Super, haven't had a chance to try it out yet. Old school, single stack Open Gun. My test load for when it gets warmer. I don't know if the loads I use in my STI Trubor are suitable, I'll have to work up again. Bullet: Hornady 147 gr. XTP-HP Powder: VihtaVuori N-105 7.9 grs. Primer: Federal 205 Small Rifle Case: Starline .38 Super +P LOAL: 1.260 (.999 with Stoney Point) Recoil Spring: 8 lbs. with Wilson Shok Buff

Took the Super Grade out for a few test rounds and it shot great! Blew one - but not bad... (30 feet, offhand). Bullet: Precision Delta 124 gr. JHP Powder: Alliant Power Pistol 7.5 grs. Primer: Winchester Small Rifle Case: Starline .38 Super +P (Lee Undersized Die) LOAL: 1.245 (.976 with Stoney Point) Recoil Spring: 8 lbs. with Wilson Shok Buff Here is a similar load used in my STI Trubor Bullet: Montana Gold 124 gr. JHP Powder: Alliant Power Pistol 7.6 grs. Primer: Winchester Small Rifle Case: Starline 38 Super +P LOAL: 1.240 (.976 with Stoney Point) Avg. Vel.: 1374.22 fps ES: 44.61 SD: 13.56 Recoil Spring: 8 lbs. with Dawson Aluma Buffer Pad

Had him build a 45ACP Accu-Comp LE on a pre Series 70 commercial Colt in the mid 80s... Made fine little gun.
