New barrel deserved a new forearm

Just recently got into Encores and didn't have a pistol forearm when I came upon a deal on a 270 pistol barrel, so I made this one and refinished the grip to match

Loaded up some shooter friendly loads with Trail Boss that were a real pleasure but full-house loads really lit up the area in front of the bench

I don't have an Encore in 270,, but I do have a 15" 7mm-08.

Those 15" barrels just don't burn the powder of factory loads properly.
My buddy said that a flame shot outta the barrel about 30" and was a foot around!
That can't be an efficient use of propellant in these times of meager availability.
The Trail Boss was nice to use but I don't believe it will render stellar accuracy.

I bet that a light weight bullet and some varget would be pretty cool in that 270 pistola!
