The contrast against the deep bluing and scare availability of carbon ss bisley hammers had me pondering. I know of at least one builder who blues stainless ,so maybe case color too. Again a great looking ss!! Many of new production single six bisleys in .32 and .327 had carbon steel hammers. In fact I didn’t realize this either and sent a spare carbon hammer with the build. It was returned and a nice surprise. Great to know! On a similar note I see that the Hornady xtp .312 are again available! Just ordered a couple boxes of 85 & 100 grain from powder valley!

That just screams class.....
You picked the right barrel length... When the Single-Seven came out I wanted one, but the 7.5" looked too long and 5.5 not quite enough... Just when I was going to buy a 5.5" a deal came up on a 6.5" Freedom Arms special order that the person who ordered it had lost interest in the 18 months it took to get made and I jumped on it...
