Bought this one out of an estate. I think it was in the process of a restoration. Decided to keep it and try to have the cracked stock repaired or restock it. Unusual case colors. Anyone seen a pattern like this??   |

I've seen pictures of work like that done with a torch, It's definitely not L.C. Smith work. The guys on Doublegunshop.com may comment furture if you"re interested.

sure looks like a torch mark doesnt it. Is the torch method effective or just cosmetic?
