Zane, Jim is a good friend from my competition days, are you wanting to buy one of his hammers?? I might be able to get you a deal. Trapr Trapr, I was thinking about picking up one of his rounding hammers later this spring. sure wouldn’t say no to a possible deal on one when the time comes. appreciate the offer!

Nice looking hammers. Back when I was bladesmithing, the lightest I'd go was a 3lb cross pein. Looks like his heaviest is 2lb. What kind of work are guys using those for?

Mike, I’d use mine for bladesmithing. I like a 3lb for forging the tip, distal taper and starting the bevels but find I can fine tune everything much better with a lighter hammer. (I need to work on my control lol) I believe Jim makes 2 1/2lb and 2 3/4lb as well and would probably end up going with one of those.

Congrats on the move Doc, Im happy for you. What made you choose Dunn, if you mind me asking and you telling. The land, and proximity to a good friend. One of those ‘opportunity knocks’ kind of things….

Doc might want to get a good pair of snake proof boots.
I can see him adding rattlesnake skin to his inventory.
