Dunn, TX! Not much there but that suits me! About a half hour west of Sweetwater. We will be back and forth for a while, first step is to get the shop built. A work in progress!! Not sure where Dunn is but had a college roommate grow up in Maryneal, Tx That’s sparse country out there. You’ll love it !! Welcome to Texas!!!

Unfortunately, I'm clear over just west of Houston. Dunn would be quite a drive.

Spent 4 years in Texas back in the 60's, never considered it a state, always thought of it as a country! Our first 2 kids were born in Sherman.

I think all these posts are actually hinting at the fact that the posters are happy to see Doc move to Tx. I got the email myself,, and my first thought was; "Doc always looked like a displaced cowboy,, so this is quite logical."
Kudos Doc!
I know you'll find a LOT of good in Tx for y'all!

I just looked it up and Dunn is clear across the state from me. (sad face). Good thing is you are near Paladuro Canyon. Good mule deer hunting there.

I was thinking Doc probably gets lots of weird looks wearing a western hat in PA., and now he’ll look like a local. First step would be finding a good straw for summer time, cuz it so get HOT in the summer, April thru October Trapr

I spend enough time in the southwest in the summer months that I have picked up a couple straw hats.
