Can’t get started till at least the weekend, but gathering all the goodies to turn this pristine 357 Maximum into a scoped hunting Bisley revolver. All my SA’s are Bisley grip frames, and the RW Gripframes Bearskinner Bisley is the Perfect grip for my hand. Waiting on the ( already ordered) Belt Mountain knurled locking base pin. I have a mold for a 180 grain Gas Checked Hollow Point bullet, that should be a winner in this gun.

That should make up into a dandy hunting gun Mike, looks like a Leupold mount on there, correct? The 180 gr HP should match up very well, looking forward to seeing it in action.

Yes, I have an extra blue Leupold DD. I seem to build, or have them built very similar, grip, scope mount, overall feel. When they feel the same, I tend to shoot better, and I can use all the help I can get! I’ll try a 4X Leupold and a 2X6 B&L on it to see what I like better. Too many projects before I can clean off the work bench grinder and polishers. I love the feel of the Bearskinner Bisley ( obviously) grip frame, and Ronnie cut me out some fine looking wood panels, so it will look purdy, as well as feel perfect. Those little tiny 180 grain .358’s feel like baby bullets, been playing with too many 45’s and .510’s

Behind on my projects as usual. Been casting and powder coating, then switched around 3 Wells made Bearskinner Bisley frames and glossed up the grip panels. Just need to change the trigger and hammer to bisley, then bore sight the scope. I switched in the walnut on the maximum, and I’m brushing the finish on the brass to keep it from being too shiny.

Don’t know what happened to the text. So got the Bisley parts all fitted, then did a mat brushed brass finish on the grip frame. Green scotch brite pad, gives it a nice finish that won’t reflect the sun. Need to take a black 2.5x8 Leupold scope off another gun, ( only have silver spares) get it bore sighted, and put it on this one. -2 degrees and windy tonight, maybe I’ll be able to shoot in a couple weeks. Got a little time today to get this finished off, and bore sighted.
