Got these old Westinghouse Micarta grip panels from Sack Peterson. Not some he made, but still a nice old pair made of interesting old material. On a Colt SA built in 1902, reworked by Hamilton Bowen, in 32-20. Fun to shoot! Tim

Have Alan fit a Pony Express hammer and stick it fork in it. It would be ultimately DONE!

Dang! I like those grips!
I've seen them somewhere, but don't remember where. I love the soft, aged amber look to them.
Beautiful pistol to put them on as well.

Look like Tyler's (of t-grip fame). I've had them in white, westinghouse antique, westinghouse orange like these, and black micarta. Nice grips.

Love it. Wish someone would start making that micarta again it's great. When I was messing with knives, about '08 or '10, there was a white and a yellow paper Micarta available which weren't very white or yellow, but more natural and subdued in appearance. The paper substrate was subtle and lent a bit of a striated ivory appearance - at least for someone who wasn't an ivory expert, like myself. At the time, there were hundreds of different Micarta options - some very weird.
I have two slabs of linen Micarta that look about like the ones king6 posted, but maybe just a teensie tad darker, or more orange, but not by much. I should just make myself a set, because those are pretty good-looking grips there.

Used a bunch of it but always just bought what I needed. Dang depression mentality, should have bought a bunch. Truly one of my favorites.
