I love the new model single sixes with the dovetail rear sights and the "baby" vaqueros most. I didn't take it today, but my 4 5/8 stainless bisley might be my favorite. Two of the ones shown were eating up some 22 mag.  |

Agreed, the dovetailed rear S6 is a favorite, my 4 5/8” Bisley is my only S6, no need for any other.

22s are just unending fun. I wish Freedom would do the M97 in 22LR with fixed sights. Get a 4 1/4 inch barrel and the dovetailed adjustable front sight and you’d have a perfect holster plinker.

Awww this thread!! After forever I’ve finally owned a bearcat! In reality two a blue adj. sight being converted to 31 h&r and a stainless adj sight that I’ve been wearing everyday on my trapline. I’ve been eyeing a shopkeeper but why! Have my 22 needs covered ,then this thread . Pairs, triplets ,bunches, herds ,flocks of Bearcats! I’m convinced I need a shopkeeper! Now to find one!

Amen ! On my 21 st B-Day I bought myself a S.S. Convertible. Have had at least one ever since. Ole Bill should have gotten a Nobel Peace Prize for that invention. The sanity it has preserved or repaired, world-wide ?
