Today I picked up a Savage Sporter in 25-20 and now need some reloading stuff. Looks like I've found some dies. I have a fair amount of 32-20 brass but would like to find some 25-20 brass and some bullets. I'd truly love to find some of the old Remington 86 grain flat points. A good friend has the same rifle and that bullet shoots phenomenal in his rifle. He's down to his last 15 of those and I'd like to find enough to help him out as well as have some for myself. Thanks guys.

FOR USE IN A BOWEN BLACKHAWK IN 25-20 I HAVE NEVER HAD ANY LUCK IN CONVERTING 32-20 BRASS TO 25-20, JUST DOESN'T WORK, DONT'T KNOW WHY.
THERE WAS A GUY MAKING CAST 86 OR SO gr FP GC'ed "RANCH DOG" BULLETS BUT LAST TIME I LOOKED I COULD NOT FIND THEM. IN FACT, LAST TIME I LOOKED I COULD NOT FIND ANY SIMILAR BULLETS WITH A GC, I THINK MIDWAY SELLS A CAST 86gr FP BUT WITHOUT A GC.

The 32-20 is just a tad bigger across the base than a 25-20 or 218 Bee. Converted 32-20 Brass works just fine in my Savage 23, but not in my JRH or Reeder 25-20 Revolvers. The chambers are just too tight in the custom guns.
The Remington Bullets are excellent, but hard to find. I bought the last two bulk boxes Midway had in stock and haven't seen them since. I use them sparingly.
Missouri Bullets has an excellent coated cast bullet, but for some reason size it .259". It's great, but won't chamber in really tight revolvers. They do size down nicely with a Lee .258" Die.
I've made 25-20 Brass from Hornady 218 Bee Cases just to see if it worked. It did just fine in the tight chambered customs.
Good luck on finding what you need...

Thanks. I have an MP mold from one of the group buys here. Cast Bullets won’t be an issue.

I’ve been checking. I found some at a small gun shop through an acquaintance. As well as some Remington bullets

What a lucky and expensive day. Found a gun shop with lots of 25-20 brass for a good price. Another guy had enough Remington 86 grain FPs to sell me 500. I’ll split those with my friend who has the same rifle. Then that friend, an enabling scoundrel by the way, sent me a link to a receiver sight specifically for the Savage Sporter.
If anyone needs some 25-20 brass, all Winchester, bags of 50 or some Remington 86 grain bullets, shoot me a PM and I’ll share the information of the sellers.

It's been my favorite round for 25+ years. I've killed lots of game with my 25-20s. Even took one to Africa in 2018 and had great success.
You'll love it too. Very mild mannered and kills far better than it's paper ballistics would have you believe.

I have a 25-20 in a Handi rifle. It's a lot of fun. The previous owner had a 22 hornet barrel rebored by Oregunsmithing.

THIS UPCOMING HUNTING SEASON, WHEN THE FORECAST IS COLD WEATHER, MY BOWEN 25-20 OM BLACKHAWK IS GOING TO TAG ALONG ON TRIPS TO THE SOUTH TEXAS DEER LEASE - I WANT TO KILL A JAVALINA WITH IT.
