Artistry in wood. When I think of mequite sixgun grips, I am taken back to the writings of old Skeeter Skelton. He'd have had to have those handles.

Thanks guys. I' makes me cringe every time I hear someone talk about dozing and burning mesquite stumps. I've made a lot of real pretty mesquite grips.

Darn, I am only getting the little red X boxes with Cary's pictures... Are you here in the U.S.? The pics are coming up fine. Can you right click on the little box and click on "View Image"?

Nope, in the Middle East. Clicking the view image doesn't work either. Oh well, I'll be home on Thursday for a few weeks and will catch up on all the stuff I miss while living here, like the Ruger Forum...
The house I bought in Texas last summer came with a pile of mesquite wood, logs and chunks, so I am going to have to give that stuff a good look.

Just out of curiosity, can you get on my website from where you are? The pics here on the forum actually reside on my website.

Does that fix the dreaded red "X" ? Beautifully. Gracias. Cary, No I cannot get to your website from here. Some other grip makers I can. Interestingly, just yesterday I was trying to get to Lee's "base" site to look up the 5 shot 45 Colt article and I was not allowed either? Flatgate's Ruger Forum, no, the Iowegen's Ruger Forum, yes. Crazy.
