Alpha Wolf 9x18 Makarov conversion barrel in a Glock 42 (380). Loading a Berry 95 grain round nose plated bullet in Starline brass. Using Lee dies with the factory crimp die. Gun isn't running 100% every time. Played with the gun and load a bit and found that it isn't the load. Runs the same with factory ammo. Think I'll get the Dremel tool and some felt bobs out next and do a little polishing of magazine feed lips and barrel ramp..

With the new ban on importing Russian ammunition, the market enthusiasm for this conversion will surely fade.

I think you are on the right track with looking at the feed lips of the magazine. The two cartridges are very close, but the 9x18 is a little fatter. You might have to thin or adjust the feed lips.
Maybe look and see where it's hanging up, right or left, top or bottom, then adjust to correctly steer the round home.

Almost got to the range to shoot today. Ended up lubricating the target carrier system instead. Shooting hopes tomorrow...
