I see it now, it does look like a little redhawk. Maybe that’s why my eye was drawn to this gun.
I might get a chance to shoot mine today, the only loads I have are 115gr hard cast RFN over 10.5gr 2400. These are bullets and loads from back before I was casting. They shot good in my SP-101 and even when I got rid of the gun I kept them in case I got another 327.

I have often thought of this one as a "mini Redhawk", love the looks, especially in blue.

I bought them in 22 LR (10 shot), 327 Federal, 10mm and 44 Special. I really wish they'd make us a run in 41 Magnum. But, doubt we ever see it...

I wish I could retire now and spend more time working up loads... move to Idaho or Texas and step outside to go shooting varmints like we used to do as kids when Dad had 5 acres outside city limits.

...if you're just going to have one .327 that is really the way to go. For a carry gun it is a little large but for target shooting and field carry it doesn't get any better...
I had one of the stainless 4" guns but sold it to a friend who wanted it after Jack Huntinngton converted a S&W 6" Model 53 to .327... Too bad S&W just can't get the message...

Bob BOB: I AM GOING TO USE A RB K FRAME MODEL 19 AS A DONOR GUN FOR A 327 OR A 32 H&R MAG, USING A 4" MODEL 16-4 BARREL I GOT FROM BUSHOG AND A MODEL 53 AUXILLARY CYLINDER. I HAVE THE HALF LUG 5" GP-100 IN 327 AND A SP101 4.2" IN 327 SO A K FRAME 327 MAY BE A LITTLE DUPLICITOUS. I JUST CAN'T DECIDE WHICH WAY TO GO, 327 OR 32 MAG, ANY THOUGHTS OR ADVICE?

If you use the the .22/Model 53 cylinder definitely go with the .327. If you want a longer barrel there is a Model 53 6" barrel on ebay right now... Am not sure of the cylinder length of a 16-4 but if it of standard .38 Special length then I would try and find a S&W Model 17, 18, or 48 cylinder to use instead as that 53 cylinder is FAR too valuable because if one has a 53 barrel one can only use a 53 rimfire cylinder for the conversion because it is Model 19/.357 Magnum length. There is a poster on the S&W forums named steelslaver who has a 53 barrel and a 17 cylinder and of course it won't work unless he faces off the front of the barrel shoulder to get it to screw in deeper. He would love to have that cylinder. If you buy that .22 Jet barrel then your gun will look like this but of course with a round butt...

BOB: I HAVE AN XTRA JET BARREL BUT PREFER TO GO WITH THE 16-4 BARREL. THE XTRA AUXILLARY CYLINDER IS ONE THAT I DID A SLOPPY JOB ON RECHAMBERING IT TO K-HORNET, SO IT IS AN XTRA CYLINDER WITH NO USE IN ITS PRESENT FORM, BUT IT SHUD CLEAN UP NICELY TO EITHER 32 MAG OR 327. WITH THE LONGER MODEL 53 CYLINDER THE 16-4 BARREL WILL NEED TO BE SHORTENED A TAD AT THE REAR OF THE BARREL AND WILL PROBABLY NEED SOME FORCING CONE WORK ALSO. I ALSO "THINK" I HAVE AN XTRA MODEL 17 CYLINDER BUT WUD RATHER USE THE BOTCHED K-HORNET CYLINDER THAN A PERFECTLY GOOD MODEL 17 CYLINDER

I also have a single seven in .327. Did not know they made them in a Blackhawk but recently saw one at a local gun show, 8 shot.

45MAN...can't disagree with your thinking...
Longhunter...I think that those guns were made for about a year... Only reason I didn't buy one is I found a 6.5" FA 97 instead...

I had a chance at a blackhawk 327 about 2 years ago but I passed. I knew they were uncommon and desirable but I just didn’t want it at the time. It’s the only one I’ve seen before or since.
