I've been drooling over the magnificent grips on the single action forum and was wandering who you guys recommend for custom grips for a Smith&Wesson "N" frame.
I am a wealthy man, I just don't have any damn money.
Thanks,

Not very original but I have always liked the stock S&W grips. I especially like the smooth ones that come on the presentation guns. If you can get them the old "coke bottle" diamond stocks ad a real touch of class.

Arguably no one makes a better or fancier S&W grip than Keith Brown. I plan on ordering a set for a 1950 target.
There is also a grip maker from the S&W Forum his forum name is Kurac who makes fantastic coke bottle grips. I have two pairs and they are the best fitting grips I have ever used and have improved my shooting as I point more naturally. He does not checker and I do not think he will do anything but a coke bottle design but he is also very reasonably priced.

Yes, I have a pair of Kurac's grips and they are darn nice and a bargain IMO. I'd like to see him source some high grade walnut though.

BluMagnum Spegel Herretts
You will be most satisfied with custom grips that are hand fit to your revolver, especially if they are carved for your hand.

I was told that Blu Magnum was not accepting new clients. Did I hear wrong?

blu-magnum.com/I believe you may be thinking of Mr. Roy Fishpaw, who is not accepting work from new customers.

That's it. A senior moment strikes, again and again and......
