A while back, knowing what a parts scrounger I am, Hamilton Bowen contacted me about a S&W M28 barrel and cylinder that had been reworked for a .38-40 conversion.
Of course I couldn't say no so here they are.
Includes a properly marked pinned M28 barrel rebored for .38-40 and matching cylinder nicely rechambered for 38-40 with the slight recesses required for the thick rim.
With getting rebores done these days this is a great opportunity and with the cylinder being done also your M28 would require minimal work for the conversion.
Someone handy might even be able to do-it-themselves.
Figured I'd try here first before posting on larger Forums.
I really don't need another project so I'm trying to sell for $600 shipped.
I know I'm going to regret this when I retire...
