Back just after I posted above, I did some checking on the Paco tools. Found out that he is not making them any more. Sounds like the alternatives are good too.

Just dug out my Waltz die this weekend. Small game season is coming up and I need to hollow point some match ammo.

Just got my Lil Gizzy tool situated thusly. Very near to being up north and cranking out some rounds.

TD, is that some sort of Dillon Precision box for 22LR ammo? (it's blue, after all).
Also, does anyone know of a field expedient means of using one of these nose reshaping rigs? I know some are set up as a die that would fit in a traditional reloading press (so a Lee thigh master would work), and the Lil' Gizzy can be used with a drill press, but it's not always convenient for me to haul a drill press around...

Odin, that’s a generic .22lr Ammo box I picked up at a sporting goods store. Could very well be Dillon, but I’m not sure. There was the open space in the middle for boxes of .22lr Ammo. I cut some foam to fit the opening then made cuts to fit the Lil Gizzy components. As far as field expedient use, the same principle would apply as the original Paco Kelly tool: Whack it with a mallet or wooden block. It’s not the preferred method, but it’s a method. Edit: thought just occurred to me. Large set of vice grips that you can set the jaw width for uniform-ish bullet forming

I'm diggin' that box. Most of the time I don't even give those a second glance as I'm well-served by a good little stash of sliding-top CCI cases, but that looks about perfect for an HP tool setup.
