Wife finally got the call after a year for the next step in obtaining a pistol permit. Along with money order and other required documents,she was told that she needed a notified letter from me saying I’m ok that she’s applying! Where in Gods name does it say in the Constitution that her 2nd amendment right is hinged on what a spouse has to say!

Not to be “that guy”, but a letter from the husband stating it’s ok for her to carry a pistol sounds remarkably sexist.

In tongue-in-cheek mode for a moment. Imagine quite a few married men might like that heads up ! I taught my wife to shoot, bought her, her own guns, and took her to a CCW course. Met our NathanHale there, he was the instructor.
