Hi guys I'm new to this forum. I am not on the comp. much but I wanted to say hi & that I love all the info I gather on this site. I am going to attempt to post a few picks of my consecutive S/N stainless 44mag Sevilles. (might take a few tries) Lee you might recognise my name from the emails we exchanged last week. I want to thank you again for the help. usually they are under my pillow these are consecutive S/N's

That's a great looking pair & consecutive numbers makes them a little more fun, as twins.

Really nice set you have there. Pretty rare barrel length too.....5.5" is very uncommon for Sevilles. Thanks for sharing them with the forum. I have a similar set of consecutive El Dorados: -Lee www.singleactions.com

Thanks for the kind words guys. Very cool to see the consecutive sets. Were the Eldorado guns made before the Sevilles, after them or at the same time?

When the stainless version of the Seville was relased in '76/'77, it was called the El Dorado. This was under United Sporting Arms ownership of Hauppauge NY. The guns I posted above are very early El Dorados, probably from late '76. After the company split in '79, the New York piece became El Dorado Arms. They lasted from 1980 - 1983 and primarily built stainless 44's (though some blued and one off chamberings exist). Sig Himmelmann moved his production to Arizona and all of those guns were Sevilles (blued & stainless). -Lee www.singleactions.com
