I recently found this 3 1/2" pre-M43 Airweight. Claimed to be unfired and certainly looked so, but not anymore.

I’ve got one as well, and it disappears on your hip with a good holster. Super lightweight, and accurate, I whacked a coyote with mine while on an elk hunt, very cool little guns.

NICE gun....
I had one that I sold to a friend after I bought a 3" 317. That friend had it about 15 years and when he was downsizing sold it to one of my hunting partners.
We were just sighting in his long range hunting rife a couple of days ago and he brougt the 43 along to do some plinking...
...too bad S&W doesn't make them like that any more...

Very nice sixgun! The Model 43 and Model 35 are among my favorite S&Ws. What wonderful companions for a stroll through the woods. The 43 can slip in your pocket while a trim lightwieght holster is perfect for the 35.

I homed-in right onto that Model 41 on the table and saw nothing else. BIG fan of the 41's. Mine is a 1959 model. I shoot it several times a week.
