One of the things I've had the most difficulty in finding is 30-30 Bullets. 30-30 ammo has been impossible, bullets for reloading not much better. Was finally able to add a few boxes of Hornady 150 grn RN and one box of 160 grn FTX. UPDATE: After posting this, I saw Midsouth had Hornady 160 grn FTX Bullets in stock. Ordered enough to do me for a long time... This why I transitioned to cast bullets for the 30/30 for general fun shooting years ago. I have enough jacketed bullets around if I wanted to get serious but then I would reach for the 45/70 then anyways...

Yes Sir, I stocked up on Cast and Coated Cast Bullets too. Will certainly work just fine for plinking and small game.
My Ruger #1 and Henry 30-30s both shoot any 30 Caliber Bullets fine. My Remington 788 in 30-30 is prone to the length limitations of the detachable magazine.

Probably two most obtainable rounds locally are .224 valkyrie and .460 sw magnum. The .460 has been consistent. The .224 v has been sporadic but more available than most.

Anyone seen lumber prices lately? Check out OSB & Plywood pricing! My remodeling contractor tells me lumber prices have gone up 200% since January 1. From the bills I am getting, I believe him.

I work in the sheetmetal world and can tell you for fact that regular carbon steel sheet has more than doubled in cost in the last 8 months or so. We have seen some large parts just 40% in customer cost without making a dime more in the shops pocket. Customers all think we are being greedy when we really are holding the same profit margin we always have. Fun times...

I went to an indoor range on Wed. The store was usually well stocked with AR rifles new and used handguns. Now there was 6 pistols, no ARs, no reloading supplies but a bunch of over/under shotguns starting at 8000. Yesterday at my favorite gun store they had loads of AR's, AK's, lever action rifles of various calibers. Maybe 40 handguns mostly used. A fine selection of single actions, and an additional 5 or 6 Bond Arms derringers. I put another on consignment. Picked up a box of 30.06 FMJ for 25.00. On another front. I'm in the car business. There is a shortage of computer chips from overseas. The manufacturers can't deliver new cars and trucks to dealers until they get the chips and install them. The used car market wholesale prices are now over retail. Not many new car dealers have much inventory. Everyone is really paying up for their used and holding on the retail prices. Not a good time to get a car now.

Yes , I know, I'm in the hvac industry, we make all of our ductwork, as well as other custom products in our shop, we stock for 6 months at a time, but everything we sell is made from sheet metal, furnace, air conditioners, so on , everything is getting expensive, new home construction probably coming to an end real soon, heck contractors can't even give a bid right now, because material cost changes weekly. A lot of gouging going on too, Home Depot had a bunk of osb, on the shelf one day the next day it was double the cost, same bunk, not because they sold out, and restocked with another that they paid more for, it was the same osb that was there there day before .

Lumber prices are out of sight, yet the price being paid for Douglas Fir logs by sawmills here in my local area are not going up. The usual gouging by all of the other hands in the cookie jar. There is actually a lot of logs going into the local sawmills here in Western Oregon with the salvaged timber from last September fires so no shortage of logs either.

I was in the Lockhart, Texas Walmart yesterday, and lo & behold, they had 10 boxes of CCI mini-mag .22 long rifle HP. I asked if there was a limit on buying, lady said no. I bought 3 boxes ( don't wanta be accused of hoarding ) and went happily out the door. These were the 100 round plastic boxes. Cost total was 27 dollars and some change. They also had one box each of .30-06, .270 Winchester, and .308 Winchester.

I finally added 400 Hornady 150 grn RN 30-30 Bullets and 400 Hornady 160 grn FTX 30-30 Bullets. Had to order from two places to get them due to limits.
But, that will last a long time. Would like to add some 125 grn Sierra HPs and Hornady 140 grn Mono Bullets. Maybe will happen in time.
Best to grab what's available when it's available. When I'm paying shipping, I try to make the order worthwhile.

Powder available, bullets available. No primers.
Saw a keg of H110 for $150. Not sure how long it lasted.
