Just spoke with Jack and I’m about to send him 5 projects. Two rifle and three handgun, one full blown custom 414SM, a cylinder rechamber to 500JRH for my FA, and a TSOB mount fit to my Hawkeye but without drilling any new holes other than what the factory provided, the rifles are optics mounts for a double rifle and a combination gun needing claw mounts.
There will be much anticipation until all the projects find their way home, one at a time.

GJN, I’m looking at 9”-10” barrel, Bisley gripped, TSOB mount, black nitride, barrel twist suitable for 240-300gr bullets, basically a dull black Stalker a Night Stalker as it were. It will allow me to give my 10.5” 357max, to my fiancé to hunt with since its recoil is virtually nonexistent, just a barrel lift and then down. It will also allow me to hunt a wider range of game with one gun, the 357max is awesome for medium game but I hesitate to use it on anything larger than mule deer.

War dog, I’m looking at a small reflex sight placed on the rib, but done tastefully and one that keeps the clean lines of the gun. Gun is a Merkel O/U 9.3x74r, originally thought of scoping the gun but I really do not expect to use it beyond 150 yds, and I can easily do that with a small red dot. Combination is also a Merkel and has existing claw mount bases and will be fit for a scope utilizing those bases. It is a 7x65r/16ga, iron sights show it to be accurate, so far easily 2moa at 100.

Thanks Trapr, should be a perfect hunting revolver. I just spoke to Jack about building me a Dan Wesson 414 Supermag. Hardly see any for sale and the few I have brought BIG bucks. Always been a fan of the 41 and it really performs with 250-300 grain bullets.

Always been a fan of the 41 and it really performs with 250-300 grain bullets. We had a 414 Dan through the shop last year some time. I ended up having to regulate the sights for a load, and spent a little while with it on my 12" steel 200 yard target. Sweet shooting cartridge.

I'm a fan of Mr. Huntington's work, Jack certainly builds a great gun! This one shoots like a rifle. Pre-Engraving
