What projects got scrapped that you're letting go of two fine potential base guns?
Both nice pieces. That Bisley 44 is the best thing to come from Ruger in a long time.

My old local pusher has a twin of your 44sp flat top for sale, used, for $1000! I had to laugh at the price but for your sake maybe he isn’t so far off...

Watching to see how the current GB process goes since it looks like I may have a ghost buyer on the Bowen gun I had on the RF.

Impossible to tell. I decided to take the risk with the penny start. Have a number in mind for the two so maybe one will go high.

Picked up a .44 bisley with horn grips NIB from Da' Eskimo that will be used for project this one was slated for. The new gun has proper serial # placement so I have more options than with the one I'm selling. A much earlier than expected invoice from BCA has caused riff in the continuum.

I've been trying very hard to buy an expensive gun before the sale tax took effect, but no luck.

That 581 is a nice one. I’ve wanted one for a while but they never show up for sale around here.
The real early L frames had the S&W logo on the side plate. Besides the serial number that’s generally how you can tell the first ones made
