Called Kimber to inquire if I could buy the 3” DASA grips for my 2” – no problem they said and a week later, here we are. Yet to get to the range with it but it sure feels like it’s going to be an improvement over the short grip. I really like this pistol . . .

Those Kimbers look great and are smooth. Unfortunately, they dont point naturally for me. 😔

Have them and they are an improvement! I have two of the K6s a DAO 2" and a 3" DA/SA. Love them both. They feel and look like a K frame but they conceal like the Colt Detective Special that they are. Mine fit in J frame holsters. I did go to the Hogue grip for Magnums. The 2" is a good pointer and excellent accuracy. The 3" is a handy trail gun.

I see Kimber as a "home grown" contemporary manufacture with large design/engineering capability. When the idea of making a revolver was agreed upon – the first thing they did was buy up everything that was related to that endeavor, use them hard, then cut them into tiny bits to learn everything they could. Being a new product for them they could “borrow” every good feature from competitors and make it their own. One “sure thing” I’ve experienced with Kimber’s (I’ve had a few) is quality of triggers. They have that detail down. All in all – it’s an EDC machine that looks as well as it shoots.

The pistolsmith Grant Cunningham designed the Revolver from a "white paper" and drew heavily on what he had worked on for decades as a revolver smith. Nice revolvers, love the actions and the sights.

Groo here Never could get past that Flat back and the square edge at the top .[same with S&W , my "magnum thumb you know" Hogue has a rubberish grip out for the DASA. Got one [for my 3in] and it helped greatly. Magnums ,almost pain free[for a couple of cylinder's full anyway 22oz you know]
