I always like seeing pitures of your guns. Thats a Kimber I've not seen before. Glad to see someone else who likes the other great American single action.

Got a wife and some inlaws from Ala. but theres not an extended pinky in the bunch. Some of em like to show off a toe now and again though. You guys on this forum sure are keepin me up at night with all your custom guns but keep em comin. So far I've held out for just the one Linebaugh but I can see couple more in the future.

I always love to see a used 1911 that demonstrates that it's owner knows how to properly put the slide stop back in. Of course, I'd expect nothing less from the overseer of the Black Hole.

Hey Axe,
Not real familiar with all variations of the 1911 -- what is the purpose of the the checking on the bottom of the trigger guard? Can't remember ever seeing that before -- front yes, bottom no.

Just a little rough spot for the draw fast, shoot fast crowd.... The front of the trigger guard is logical for the ones that wrap the forefinger around it but this under the trigger guard checkering has to be for a little extra friction for the support hand with the forefinger jammed under the trigger guard...

Nice pistol. I like the serrations on top. I have a pre-series "Royal" that shoots better than I do

What do you think of the hugely spaced serrations? How do they feel/work?

Lot of personal bias for such things... The forward ones are moot to me... These rest work fine for me... As do every other style I have been exposed to...
