I made this one for a 5 1/2" single action. I use it when I plan on keeping the gun in the holster more that out. It's high, tight, and comfortable.

Wow! Single Action pancake! Don't see many of those. It seems you didn't make just a holster, either. I like how you incorporated a reload into the buckle. Nice work. I showed this before, but since it got lost on the old forum, here it is again:

I didn't make this one but it was made by a Alaskan hunting guide. He carried it for many years. It fits a 4 3/4 Colt SAA perfectly. I obtained it from him.

I don't know if this qualifies as home made. It's from a Tandy kit I bought in High School. My former sister-in-law tooled saddles for Billy Cook and supplied me with some stuff for the tooling. The leather was precut .

My Dad made this for my custom Bisley about 7 or 8 years ago. He also made the 500 Linebaugh cartridge loop.

Here's my version of the old Tom Threepersons design. It's thirty years or so old. The belt was made for me by my #1 son for Christmas this year, the knife and sheath by his brother. That's a Smith .44 Magnum Classic in the garage. I made these last two a week or two ago. That's my Lipsey's - Ruger .44 Spl in one; the other is for a 50th Anniversary Ruger .44 Magnum. Great guns all. I guess you could say I'm a Tom Threepersons minimalist! Regards, Rodfac

Here's a holster I made for my 5 & 1/2 in. Super Blackhawks about fifteen years ago. There's a cartridge slide for 12 ga. made about the same time. mt

Here is a rig I build recently...... This one fits 5 1/2" Colt SAA or clones.... No belt loops as I am build slides so I can mix and guns and calibers. Oh.. by the way.. my handle here is reuben... I'm new as you can see. I tried to register on the old forum but as many of you know, I was unable to. Glad this one works! I frequent the Ruger Forum, and plan on stopping by here as well. ciao ya'll.... www.alaskaleatherworks.com
