Man that was a blast! Sighted in the Reeder with some 170 gr JHP ammo and the recoil was pleasant and muzzle blast wasn’t bad at all, of course I was wearing ear protection at the time. Got it sighted in an inch high at 100 yards and will take it hunting in the morning. I just need a buck or a pig to wander by.

Hope to find out. I have til February 21st. He ain’t the biggest in the world but is nice for this area. He was there at 4am. Hoping the rut gets him out in daylight

If that's a Sierra 170gr HP, I wouldn't use it on big hogs. Years ago I shot a 300 pounder using a 41 Auto Mag with that bullet.....penetration was dismal. About 4 inches, both shots. The bullets were both flattened out like lead nickels.

If you can find some Sierra 220 grain FPJM bullets they are supremely accurate, and penetrate well. I’m casting up some 250 GNR gas checks to try in the 410GNR and 41#2. I was given some 255 grain cast oerformance bullets to try also.
