The big brown truck dropped this one off on Friday. Pretty straightforward build of a .480 Ruger on a Super bisley. Octagonal barrel, fluted and chamfered cylinder, nitre blued pins and screws, case colored hammer/trigger and the sight set up I've grown to love (and need). The grips are what are the last set of bighorn sheep that Roy Fishpaw did. I have memory of Roy finding blanks were in his desk after he told me he didn't have any more sheep horn. He simply chuckled loudly as he found them. Nice and packable with just enough bling. Last pic is bad but I put it in as it shows the lovely chocolate color of the horn. These revolvers are going to get harder and harder to get built as the best begin to bring in their shingles. Good news is that it looks like some of the previously less known smiths (to me anyhow) are turning out some nice work too. Let's hope so!

The gun Encore speaks of is a medium frame gun. This one is full size. Oct barrel not that much heavier.

The cylinder is a 5 shot oversized one also.

Glad to see they're back to using a domed pin on the front sight. My last one had a roll pin.
