I have a doctor friend who is a collector of U. S. Military long guns starting with Krags. M-1 carbines are his big thing, but he has quite a few Krags. I was able to get him an original carbine saddle scabbard for a Krag a few months ago from an uncle in New Mexico who spotted it and knew what it was.

I'm out of action for this week, on the ranch mending an injury.
I think I might load up a rack of the heavy round nose jacketed bullets and harass my steel targets out on the hills.
