I am looking for a Ruger Bisley hammer, Or one that has been modified to work with a non Bisley grip frame. I would prefer a case hardened. Blued possible. I have a Power Custom Bisley spur hammer with trigger, blued. A Power custom Montado hammer and trigger, blued. There is also a Power Custom standard spur hammer that has been Re Finnished in high polished blue with sides In the white. Somehow I don’t have a trigger to go with this one. looking to trade for one or a combination of the above parts. I can provide more pictures if needed. Pleas send me a PM. Thanks, Jonathan.

The part you’re looking for (I think) isn’t going to come case colored or blued unless it was custom finished.
I’d guess you’re in for a hunt on this one.
What’s wrong with the Powers parts you have?

Just find a Bisley hammer and have someone mill off the hump and blue or CCH it. Bobby Tyler May have what you need at his shop. An email or quick call could probably end your hunt

Bushog: You are correct case colored wil be very unlikely unless someone just happens to have one out of a custom laying around. (I can dream right) In regards to a blued hammer. I am looking for a factory non stainless Bisley hammer. It will get case hardened at a later date. In regards to the Power Custom parts. There is nothing wrong with them, I have simply come to prefer a hammer without the half cock for my new model guns. Thanks, Jonathan.

Zeus: You hit the nail on the head. My plan was to file/cut the hump off a factory hammer if I can find one.
I didn’t even think about calling Mr. Tyler. I will have to give them a call during my lunch today.
I was probably over optimistic hoping someone had a case hardened one laying around.
Thanks, Jonathan.

“.....a Power Custom Bisley spur hammer with trigger, blued." ----Jonathan ***** Bagby..... the angle of the TRIGGER SEAR looks to be cut wrong.I this stock Power Custom? I don’t see how it can hold the hammer at full cock (without a deep full cock notch----thick full cock DOG). David Bradshaw

Mr. Bradshaw. Thank you for pointing that out. The picture I uploaded was at a poor angle. Here is the same trigger on a good contrasting background. When installed that hammer and trigger have a good 3-3 1/2 pound pull with minimal creep. Thanks, Jonathan.
