If all he did is what is visible, it is still a great deal. I suspect it's a rebarrel, rechamber of a 44, BP chamfer, action work, new front and rear sights, and base pin, in which case it would normally go for more than this and would be all the gun anyone really needs, for both accuracy and power. I would think that sights, base pin, and action work alone don't normally warrant the CCG stamp.
