Here's a little something from Diagonal Rd. that I've been excited to get for some time now. S&W 19 fitted with a Seigrist re-bored K-17 barrel and .32 H&R Magnum chambered M17 cylinder. Andy simply does such a fine job on all the guns he builds. This one also wears a set of Keith Brown Ropers in english walnut. Some may ask why not get the gun built in .327 Federal while I was at it. Well, I already have a K frame .32 with a heavier barrel set up for that and I've been enjoying shooting some .32 S&W long lately with wadcutters. Andy suggested that the .32 H&R chambering would do better with the shorter cartridge, especially with wadcutters. In the end I probably could have come close to just buying a K-32 for the cost but getting exactly what you want is the prize. Andy fabricated a nice tidy ramp front sight with a white line for tired old eyes. Maybe you get the idea. I've gotten spoiled with this sight set-up on my Bowen built guns Once again, the Devil's in the details. Andy re-contoured the hammer and re-checkered the spur. The contour from the side is much improved too in my eyes. This is the .327/.32-20 convertible Bowen built.

Super nice gun. I'm a lover of fine 32s as well.

Andy does such a superb job on recontouring the Smith hammer. I may send my Model 28 41 Special back to him to have the same thing done to it just for aesthetics reasons. No idea why I brain faded on teh idea when I had him build the gun.

Greg, I'm always mad at you because you & Robb always show all of these beautiful six guns!! That is a real beauty for sure & I'm glad you left it in 32 magnum, you can run some brute loads through it if you want to. Love it!

VERY nicely done...and love that front sight setup. Mine is just a Plain Jane Model 53 that Jack Huntington rechambered the .22 Rimfire cylinder to .327 and had the barrel rebored to .311...said it was one of his easier jobs... Still have the original .22 Jet cylinder and like new barrel if someone in the future wants to put the gun back to original... Bob

It wears a .22 Jet barrel that has been rebored and a rechambered M17 cylinder.

Dick Thanks Dick, I've got the toys but you live in the playground. Here in NM isn't bad but... I may be in touch for some info. I have a whole folder full of cut-and-pastes showing suggested loads you've found good but surely I've missed a few. How are you feeling?
