My brother just bought one of those yesterday. We are going to the range tomorrow to try it out. Not sure I'm looking forward to it!

Probably less than the 4" ported guns do. I shot one of those a bit and it wasnt as bad as I feared. But they were mid-range loads not firewall level H110 loads either...

Have had one of the ported 4" guns since shortly after they came out...it was LNIB...fired once...
Have never shot any rounds over 385 grain factory loads but 350s grain handloads with a big dose of H110 is not bad to shoot... One can however see the fireball at noon on a cloudless day and will remove your eyebrows...
Would not want to shoot one without a comp...much prefer the muzzleblast to the recoil.
