I don't know about the Swift bullet in .327, but in every other caliber I've loaded Swift bullets, they show pressure (sticky cases) with loads safe with XTPs. Load data does not transfer from XTPs to Swift bullets in .357 Max, 44 Mag, 45 Colt and 454 Casull, so I'd be cautious with a Swift bullet in .327 and XTP load data.

I was told the 100 grain A-Frame was tested with 11.3 grains H110 for 1520 fps in their lab, and to start about a grain lower with load workup.

THERE IS SOMETHING ABOUT AFRAMES THAT CAUSES MORE PRESSURE. I THINK IT MAY BE THE AFRAME ITSELF. MY UNDERSTANDING IS THAT WITH THESE NEW 32 AFRAMES SWIFT IS RECOMMENDING TO START LOW AND WORK UP. I AM NOT PLANNING TO USE XTP DATA OTHER THAN TO KNOW WHAT TO WORK DOWN FROM TO START WITH. I HAVE GOTTEN A SECOND HAND REPORT FROM SWIFT THAT 11.6grs OF H110 GAVE 1537fps BUT IN A 20 INCH BARREL. AM BEGINNING TO RETHINK MY EXPECTATIONS AND MAYBE GETTING TO 1500fps IN A 5.5 INCH REVOLVER MAY NOT BE RALISTIC, MAYBE SOMEWHERE IN THE 1400fps RANGE IS MORE REALISTIC.

PUT A 100gR XTP AND A SWIFT 100gr AFRAME SISE BY SIDE TODAY, THE SWIFT IS LONGER AND SEATS DEEPER TO THE CANNELURE. AM WONDERING IF H110/W296 MIGHT BE A BETTER CHOICE WITH THE SWIFTS THAN No. 9?
