That's a good looking holster too. What brand and model of holster is it?

Just got it the day before Christmas eve. I've got plenty of ammo left from when I had the 6-1/2" so I hope to get to the range this week.

My primary use for my SRH480. Is different than the OP's This winter I pack mine when walking my dog/dogs in town where we are house sitting . Place is a moose haven with Lots of cow and calf moose that end up too close for comfort. I chopped the barrel on my 480 and am very glad I did (for My purposes) I've had several 7 1/2" 480 SRHs . I liked everyone of them. For me they were easy guns to hit with. But I never had an optic on one. I do plan to put an optic on my 4 1/2 ish" 480. And will make a holster for it. Ideally the op should handle both. I think the biggest negative of the long barrel is packin. But the shooting of them is Great ! I'm not a good shot with a handgun. But with the iron sights on my 7 1/2" SRHs 480s and 44 mag . Hitting a 5" target wasn't hard at all @ 50 yards. And I have done that at 100. With me it seemed to be more a case of , some days I did great, some days my shooting was terrible. I'm hoping an optic will help reduce the terrible days.
