Very Very good triggers. I have used them since they first came out and were much more expensive. The G-type triggers are also very good, but MBT's are a much better value.

I bought a couple of the Geissele ssa-e triggers on sale a while back to go on a couple daniel defense ARs; but I've read lots of good things about those Larue ones & many serious AR types do consider them the best bang for the buck.

I have had and have a bunch of AR triggers. I'm down to a few G triggers and the rest being Larue. Other than the G Hi Speed Match, I have no reason to use anything other than the Larue.
It feels better than a SSA-E, cost less than a RRA, it doesn't trigger slap like many drop in modules.
The price was Mark Larue's way of sticking it to every one else in the industry and making it up in volume. The trigger is worth twice what it cost.

I used to shoot for LaRue, and had to replace triggers in both my AR and OBR with JP units due to damage, breakage, and malfunction. In the OBR is was a G trigger unit and the damage extended to the bolt carrier and neither G nor LR would claim responsibility or replace damaged parts. On the AR, the trigger failed during an international match, European Rifle Championships. I had to borrow a fellow shooters complete lower to finish the match, the lower was a JP.
Now remember I was sponsored by LaRue and still couldn’t get ANY customer service, and I would drive to the shop and speak in person with them.
I hope everyone else’s experiences are not like mine.

Interesting on the failures.
What was damaged on your OBR ( I have one as well)? A 308 AR is a different animal than a regular one. I've broken bolt catches and had reliability issues. I solved them with a heavy stainless steel buffer at maximum length in a carbine buffer tube. Careful reloading is required as well.
What broke on the MBT trigger in the match?

OBR, hammer gouged a groove into the bottom of the bolt carrier. Enough so that it would hold the carrier partially to the rear from friction. I replaced both BCG and trigger group with JP units and they are both still running.
On the AR, the spring detent in the hammer which supplies friction to the hammer pin to help with holding the pin, broke. Allowing the pin to slip and drop down into the lower receiver, thus canting the hammer and not allowing the sear to catch the hammer, full auto fire ensued.
