New carry and new squirrel thumper

Got me a new carry gun, S&W 66 Combat magnum. The accuracy is great, I have the rear sight down as low as it will go but with a slight 6 o:clock hold it will shoot pretty much a one hole group dead center at fifteen yards, off a rest. Also picked up this little SP101 in .22lr, haven't got to shoot it yet but it should make a good squirrel popper, it has a very nice single action trigger pull. If I had known someone made an optics mount for them I would have had one a long time ago.

Nice revolvers! I have the Model 69. They are very accurate. I had to put a taller front sight in my 69 as it shot a little high. Don't remember the height but brought my rear sight to a place where I had more adjustment. SPs are cool little revolvers. IIRC I bought the taller blade from Brownells.

That little 66 is a sweetheart. Glad to hear its accurate, but not the least bit surprised.
