Loaded up some more Skeeter loads. And a few more of the 5gr Of Bullseye and 248gr round nose. Hope to touch them off on Sunday afternoon. I wish you could still get a pound of Bullseye for the price on that can. Thanks, Jonathan

Great pics and good luck at the range! In the middle of the "Obama Scare", I picked up a 12 pound steel keg of 700X for 100 bucks! Only wish the man had three!

A little off topic, but what do you use 700x in? I found a good amount on clearance, bought it, and found I didn't like it. Least wise, not in light 45 colt loads. Would like to be able to use it in something I load for. Trying to source some .431" 250 grainers right now. Got a new FT 44 spl I want to load for.

I like the social distancing on the 44 special RN loads!! When I worked in a sporting Goods store during my Air Force days in the 60's a pound of Bullseye was $2.67, but, I was only making $1.45 an hour part time!

Dick "Social distancing" to me means you are not in handgun range. But that is easy when you work on a ranch.

I have found that 700X works for most anywhere I would have normally used Bullseye, not saying the exact same charge, but basically the same usage. Back in the Obama shortage years, I had to buy what was on the shelf, not necessarily what I wanted, I tried to learn to make other powders I had never used before work, shotgun powders for pistol loads mostly. the loads were always in the books, had just never tried them before. Mostly used it in light target 200-grain SWC 45ACP in my S&W 625 revolver and actually also in 44 Special, a 180-grain bullet I have shot a lot.

I have a little bit that’s been sitting around here for a while. Might need to try some Loads using it. Thanks, Jonathan.
