Well sorta'... I've dealt with this seller years ago when he was working for a large online gun dealer. He's out of his mind. Nice build but my goodness. If that gun is worth what he's asking I can retire... www.gunbroker.com/item/871474511

Beautiful gun, but the price is a little high.

Ironically I just arranged to buy almost the same gun from the same timeframe from a man who commissioned it from Hamilton as well. Old model 357 conversion to 38-40, full bisley conversion with Clements parts and Trumbull coloring and nearly identical color walnut grips by Cary Chapman for about 25% of this guns price. You could duplicate the gun in the ad with Rob Rowen grips for about 1/3 the price.

It doesn't seem to hurt so bad when you pay for it one step at a time and send all the parts along with the gun to be built but MAN it adds up. Then comes the bill for the gun...and the bill for the grips.... That's a large frame gun. It is a pretty build though.

WHEN I SAW THAT REVOLVER ON GB MY THOUGHT WAS IT MIGHT BE WORTH $3,000 TO $4,000, BUT $12,500 "FIRM", THE OWNER MUST REALLY WANT TO KEEP OWNING THAT GUN.
