Beautiful gun built by one that'll be hard to replace.
And you're right about Aeroscout. Joe is from my area and I've had the pleasure of meeting and discussing projects with him.

I talked with Alan on the phone today. I had called and left a message that I had purchased the .32wcf off Morphy auctions and wanted to pick his brain about it. It is quite unique as it is a mid frame OM Ruger and the extra cylinder is in .32 S&W Long. We had a nice visit and I took my leave at a decent interval as he is in business to make a living. The .32 S&W is really cool out of an OM mid frame........... The .32 S&W is really cool out of nearly anything.

Better than me, but that is the easy part. I was very lucky to get a 2nd Gen NF in .357 so the cylinder is heat treated for strength and a cylinder rechamber and a custom barrel was all that was needed except Mr. Hartons expertise. I got everything I requested and nothing I didn't.......

ddixie884, Hey bud, nice sounding 32 WCF. I have the similar Buckeye with the 2nd cylinder in 32H&Rmag. This a first for me hearing about using 32 S&W long cylinder. I've read many that went the other direction toward a 327fedmag; and of course they can then shoot all the .32 variants.
Was it the extra cylinder in S&W long that caused you to purchase? Do you shoot a lot of it now? I really enjoy the S&W long, but I don't know many that do; testosterone being what it is.
I'm quite envious.

I didn't know what the extra cylinder was. I wasn't sure that it wasn't the .357 cylinder that came from it. Look in LINKS and find the thread about two Hartons at auction. click on the picture of the .32-20 and Great western .22 and you can read the description that I had to bid off of.
