Thanks. I will talk to John about it tomorrow. Still have to decide on octagon or round. I would love to see what a 5.5 inch Barrel with a full length ERH would look like but I would guess that might cost a bit to fabricate.

There a number of guns there with 5 1/2" barrels with full length ERHs. You don't have to fabricate a new ERH you just slightly shorten the ones encore is talking about. They used to be plentiful but hard to find now. Might have to call Ruger.

Gallagher built 45 with S&W barrel and full length ERH. I think it’s a 5-1/2” barrel. Never measured it. Camera angle is a bit deceptive. Tim
