LGS has a new one in 44spl. 5.5” $503 + Tax
Are these good revolver’s? I’ve never owned any SA other than a Ruger. It’s a really nice looking gun. The quality looks very good. I’m thinking hard about buying it, but looking for some input from someone that has experience with one first.
Thanks Justin

Absolutely fantastic guns. Easy to add a 44-40 Cylinder too. Makes a dandy dual cylinder gun.

Another thumbs up, here. I own several Uberti Cattleman revolvers, one specifically imported by Taylor, and love 'em all. Excellent quality, independent of the price. Also, Taylor Firearms commands a very high fit and finish from the Uberti models it markets. I believe if you buy it, you will be happy with it.

I just bought a Tayler cattleman 44spl, 4.75" (not II) Its a nice gun. It does have the retractable firing pin BS that I didnt know it had since its not the II. Im waiting for the 4 click hammer and trig. to get back in stock...
My Uberti USA gun(stoeger) CMS SS is nicer fit finish, the Tayler had a sharp nick in the loading gate I had to file off

Thanks guys.
I’m going to go look at it again Saturday. Are the Taylor tuned ones worth the extra money?
Thanks again Justin

Thanks guys. I’m going to go look at it again Saturday. Are the Taylor tuned ones worth the extra money? Thanks again Justin The Taylor's Smokewagon Deluxe (tuned) I had was awful slick and light compared to the other Ubertis with the (spit) Cattleman II system that I held the day I bought that SM...but those Ubertis without the tuning were a good bit heavier and rougher than my untuned Cimarron Pietta based SAA clones.
...and the Cimarron Piettas were 4-click, (closer) clones.
In summation, I'll never buy another Cattleman II system equipped Uberti...but I'll gladly take their other models (I own several) and Pietta based (non transfer bar) 4-click models from Cimarron, Taylor's, and whomever else.

Ive heard dont get the Taylor tuned.
If you want it slicked up have a Good SA gunsmith do it, or do it yourself and add a Lee Gunsmithing main spring kit
