I picked up 3 Rugers yesterday from Jim Stroh of Alpha Precision. Jim took all of these and shortened the barrels to 5 1/2" and added his sights. These turned out very well.
The 44Mag Bisley required healing from an earlier scope mount. Jim welded the holes and re tempered the frame. This one will be reblued if it ever warms back up again.
The Stainless SBH will be Bisleyized soon.
I was very pleased with Jim's work and the two hour drive to pick these up was made well worth it by having the opportunity to chat with Jim for a while. He's a real gentleman.
