This was Mr John's last deer. So glad he was able to go deer hunting one last time. He wanted to kill a turkey with his Winchester 97 but time ran out.

A friend and client of Johns took him hunting along with another friend and made that final hunt possible. To watch the video of that hunt and see the emotions shared by those three friends is heartwarming. That same friend also made sure that trophy was prepared in rd it’d time and John has that deer mounted and hanging in his entry way/ den and the long cylinder bisley with the stage and octagon barrel rest in its Thad Rybka holster on top of a gun cabinet near the mount. I am sure that gun, which John built for a customer before Isaac started working in the shop, will go to Isaac.

He sent me a message about turkey hunting with his 97. We were prepared to do what ever was necessary to make it happen if he got able to go. Very sad that he never got the strength to do it. I didn't know they got the deer mounted that quick. That is awesome.
