Sad to know that he hs passed. He built very nice guns and they will be enjoyed by many for a long time. That's not a bad thing to leave behind, to be remembered by something he built.

My first semi-custom was from John: new 4 inch barrel, DX front sight base with a couple of blades, Bisley to birds head swap, action work. This was my go-to gun as I started stretching my range out to 75 and 100 yards.
