It's a cool gun but there are some details that I find lacking.... That receiver to grip frame fit that is one of the acid tests of a custom Ruger bisley just isn't there. And...why put a full length ERH on the gun with a standard length ER? I do like that blue color though. Just my opinion. Good eye on the short rod. The matching band in the ERH is cool and I think it would look even better on a 5.5 inch gun. The only thing I have to add is the script they chose for ZPW looks too modern for the platform. The "LINEB AUGH" font is nice. That blue is nice. Neat to see international builds of the 500.

I like it. It's true that the long ERH and corresponding ER aren't necessary, but the work looks well done. Who'd a thunk somewhere in Germany someone would be customizing a RBH or a FA83. I'll bet that he can eject a fired case clear of the back of the revolver.
A Wells brass gripframe would be a complementary look to that revolver IMO.

Just an update. The barrelbend is made from one piece and it is compatible for the frontsights of Freedom Arms.

Very nice Norfok! How hard is it to get custom work done there ? I would guess there are not a lot of custom gun smiths doing single action work.

I am digging that finish. The blued satin look is sweet.

There are not much gunsmiths where specialised for single actions here. If I would count them, there maybe two or three!? But I looked around for over a decade to find someone who could turn all my wishes into custom works. I'm sure that ZPW has made the first Ruger .500 Linebaugh conversion in Germany!

ZPW You are doing very nice work. Are these the first four single action customs you have done?

This is really cool - hotrod custom single action wheelguns from across the ocean.
Keep it up! There's a distinctive style here, cool features and solid engineering. I can't wait to see the next piece.

ZPW You are doing very nice work. Are these the first four single action customs you have done? Hi junebug, thanks a lot.
Nope, with these two it were five Linebaugh conversions in summary. I do customized some BFRs und FAs too. Unfortunately, single actions revolvers are not as common in Europe as in the united states. There are 95% double action revolvers in use and 90% of them are Smith & Wessons, the rest are some Colts and Rugers. I do several double action customs, mostly for competitions.
But i like single actions more than double actions....

More is yet to come. Next one is a .500 Linebaugh Long on base of a Seville revolver and a wildcat BFR. And some custom barrels for the FA M2008 single shot pistol.
Mr Z as you are a business man what does one of your conversions cost over there? Thank you sir. No problem. At today's exchange rate, the conversion costs about $ 5000 plus the base weapon.

...personally - I wouldn't care for a sekond what the auslanders say about your guns..
..from my foxhole those revolvers are "ausgezeichnet!"
that barrel band combining a more commonly available front sight and erh anchor point is sheer genius - so when are you "nach Amerika einwandern?"
..and that's just my opinion..
