Apparently my google-foo is weak for I cannot for the life of me find any examples of an octagon barrelled custom by David Clements.
If you have one and could post a pic or point me to one I would certainly appreciate it.

So sad these Masters of Metal are retiring. Not that I blame them, it just leaves a void in our hearts for good custom work.
I got a call the other day from my Riflesmith in PA that my last full on custom rifle is done and shipped. He said he would do one more for me on a Mauser action. He did not say he is retiring, but after 30 plus custom rifles over 25 years the way he talked made me think this is the end for him. I love the man although we have never shook hands and I wish him all the happiness possible in life and if this is his path let him walk it in peace.
I am just sad to see the old Masters not taking on any more work. They will be missed and loved.

I talked to David Clements this afternoon about about a sbh he has had for awhile to be done in 218 Mashburn Bee. He has just finished a bunch of cylinders for orders mine included. He said the fire at Pac Nor and nobody was making parts was really slowing things down , he did say he wanted get the stuff inhouse out by the end of the year. I think he may not be ready to close it all up but just cut back.
I have some good pic of a oct barrel 22 khornet he did I could not get them up on imgur cause some problem with it I will try again tomorrow after I talk to them.. Have a nice Day Don K
