I recently bought a .44spl stainless FT with a Bowen sight and a couple of used montado hammers. When installing one of the hammers I found that the face of this hammer was tall enough to contact the rear of the sight. Just thought I'd share this info. I didn't damage the sight........

You can always file down the top of the hammer,, allowing it to fit,, AND give you the Montado feel.

I did. I was just giving a heads up........... That's not a uncommon problem with those sights all the way down. Was it a target sight?

I guess it is a Rough Country. That is on the instructions and the box is marked RCFTST. What is the allen screw for?

Locking the sight in place once you get it regulated.
There's a tiny little screw in the sight body.

This is the one that was in the links a while back. $500.00 gun with a $100.00 sight and a Kydex holster $500.00 starting bid and no one else bid. The Ruger sight is with it..........
