Well, I'm a tuner and I can't help ya!! Lol!!!
A little info would be helpful like . . . we talking cartridge gun, cap & ball, you need a really light hammer draw (arthritic thumb) or just lighter than what you already have? Sorry, not trying to be a Smarty but it's a fairly "personal" thing for some folks. I tell my customers that I normally set the hammer draw to 4 lbs. or just over (for cap and ball S.A.s) or 3 lbs. for cartridge guns. Of course, if the customer has a preference (lighter or heavier) I can accommodate. Triggers are a different story, 2 1/2 - 3 lbs. (pos.) Nothing less than 2 lbs. (pos).
So, I can't tell you a company spring to get because I don't use um, I "tune" your spring. The other part of this is that just changing to a lighter mainspring will influence the trigger pull accordingly so a heavy trigger pull be lighter but an already light trigger pull may become dangerous especially if it has neg. engagement (of course any neg. trigger is dangerous light or heavy).

For a 1973 sa colt clone gun , uberti cattleman. Trying to get it a little lighter hammer pull like my AWA is. I can modify the spring but I think ill try a Lee spring first to play around to see how it does. The pictures of the spring VTI shows it is wider looking that the Lee spring, so that was the reason for my original question P.S. I ordered both type springs to experiment with and see what I like.
