Greetings,
I'm needing to pick some brains here. A week ago I acquired a North American Arms revolver in 450 Express Magnum that's in need of at least one part (cylinder stop) and a gunsmith. My goal is to return the revolver into shooting condition and then find a new home for it. I've been on the phone with both Hamilton Bowen and Linebaugh, no luck there. Have also tried calling the engineering department of NAA to see if they have CNC numbers or a diagram of the part but so far they don't answer the phone. Any ideas folks?

I know NOTHING about this ,,,, except , maybe , some wild-assed speculation/guessing.
NAA seems to have made and bought the little mini revolvers design from Dick Casull . Who worked closely with Freedom arms making large , stainless , 5 shot, .45 based guns. Hmmmmmmm, could there be a trail ?

Just came with the one cylinder as part of a larger trade/swap of "stuff". Found 2 sources of new production brass but right now the goal is to just get the gun shootable again.

FWIW, there's load data for the 450NAA in the 25th edition of the Hodgdon manual.

I saw one of these in a wood presentation case and two cylinders. if there was a third cylinder I didn't pay close enough attention to notice it. It was in excellent condition, shiny and I think just as it came from the factory. If I'd seen it last fall when I had more cash I could have bought it.
